Our Mission
The name WAEA seeks to bring together Africans across Wales to connect, celebrate culture and foster community cohesion.
Our vision for the future is a Wales where cultural diversity will be embraced as a way of life. We want people to be bold and confident to celebrate their culture and heritage without there being any barriers to showcasing culture. We want a safe space where people can learn about their culture and create new lasting connections with the wider community.

We aim to organise gatherings and events that will strengthen bonds and create valuable connections.
Cultural Integration
We aim to encourage cultural exchange by hosting workshops and activities that celebrate West African culture.
Advocacy and Representation
We aim to advocate for the rights and interest of the West African community at local and regional levels.
